In this puzzle the player had to use one interactive tool in order to power another tool. The second tool would then be used to sustain itself and lighting a bit of the way, to make it possible to use the first tool on other tasks and finish the level.

Quick test of a lightbeam movement scenario
This was a quick level put together to try the capabilities of a light beam mechanic and how the player would move with it.

In this puzzle the player must use boxes that light up when in proximity to one another in order to light up the labyrinth on the floor below. There are not enough boxes to cover the entire map, so the player must be creative with some placements. The player can make estimated guesses on where to move, by looking through the glass in the floor.

Proximity Bridges Overview
This is one of the most complicated puzzles I made. It was quickly re-iterated, but some of the core ideas were lost. In this map the player must maneuver over bridges that work together with proximity boxes to light an area in order to get to the goal. The goal is always illuminated in the middle of the level and the way to get to it requires several steps of thinking ahead.
The re-iterated version is not included in my portfolio as it was taken over by another designer and is likely to be featured in the final game.
